Daab, the German publisher has just launched the book LOVE DESIGN full of new, trendy, innovative and erotic products and ideas around sex.

The book was presented in the recent Milano Furniture Fair

Good Vibrations, the legendary San Francisco-based company that takes pride in providing accurate information on sexuality and toys for grown-ups, just launched IXFF: The Second Coming Tour, a national (USA only!) road show of the Independent Erotic Film Festival’s best shorts.

Debuting in 2006 as the Good Vibrations Amateur Erotic Film Competition at San Francisco’s historic Castro Theatre, the competition became a full-fledged Film Festival in 2008 with national and international shorts rounding out the winning entries.

This Spring, Good Vibrations is selecting the very best of past entries from its Independent Erotic Film Festival (IXFF) and taking it on the road as The Second Coming Tour. Indie filmmakers share their interpretation of erotic with sexy shorts (ten minutes or less) ranging from smutty to arty and comedic to serious.

Each night of erotic cinema begins with a brief History of Porn by Good Vibrations Staff Sexologist and Chief Cultural Officer, Dr. Carol Queen, PhD. An entertaining sex educator, author and activist, Dr. Queen will provide an educational, historic, and cultural examination of an era gone by, illuminating its inception and development.

Film.com has made an interesting compilation of 50 monologues in the movies. And to be original and gentle with us the ladies, they included just 3 women, a tiny 6%.  ¿What is lacking here? Good female characters in the scripts, women writing scripts, women directing movies, women producing movies, men and women thinking in giving chances to other women, women complaining more about issues like this. We are really far from being represented in an acceptable percentage in the entertainment industry!

Equality Now has just issued Women’s Action 33.1 Japan: Rape simulator games and the normalization of sexual violence. The Action focuses on the rape simulator game RapeLay, which is produced and sold in Japan, including through Amazon Japan. The aim of RapeLay is for the player to manipulate the game in order to simulate raping a woman and her two school-aged daughters, one of whom appears to be a young child. Equality Now is calling for the withdrawal from sale in Japan of all games that involve rape, stalking or other forms of sexual violence against women and girls. The Action also urges the Japanese government to take effective measures to overcome negative stereotypical sex-discriminatory attitudes and practices that hinder women’s equality.
